We work closely with many Belgium federal agencies, including sponsorship of accreditation programs, auditing on the agency’s behalf, and directly accrediting the agencies themselves.

SCB is recognized internationally in accrediting organizations to ISO/IEC 17020. This recognition ensures acceptance of SCB-accredited agencies' results. SCB maintains membership in the International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation (ILAC) and the Asia Pacific Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation (APLAC) and InterBelgiumn Accreditation Cooperation (IAAC).
